Hobsons Bay Council
ACHIEVEMENTS
2010 key achievements
I am passionate about encouraging and enabling more women to become
involved in local government and senior decision making roles within
the community. I was named the Hobsons Bay City Council Women's Charter
Champion in 2010 and this is a role I love and take very seriously.
In November we held a very successful Women’s Forum with residents
from all sectors of our community and a list of beneficial suggestions
and actions was put together. More forums will be held during 2011
to start putting into practice the suggestions we have received which
we anticipate will help our resident females to get closer to reaching
their potential within this wonderful city.
